There is only one version of windows 7, but a very simliar one is Windows Vista.

2. Describe some of the features of the new task bar.
Some of the new features used with Windows 7 are the following:


  • Fewer clicks

  • Faster Searching tools

  • Easier Browsing

  • Faster PC

  • More Secure and reliable

  • Starts faster

3. What are jump lists and how will they be useful?


The use of jump lists helps the person using windows 7 access documents, pictures, music files, websites etc. by allowing you to open these certain data types which you have previously had open, without re-opening them.


4. How can one quickly size two windows to fill the desktop side by side?
You are able to resize windows opened to fill the desktop side by side, by using Snap. It's a quick and easy way which you are able to drag the open files to the sides of the screen and they automatically change size to fit the screen.

XP allows you to to run the older Windows XP software through Windows 7

Bilocker is a removable drive which allows to open and view the content to the removal drives which have been protected.
