Today we were given our assignments. For this assignment we are to get into groups and we create our own videos. Lani and I have partnered up (:
Sir allowed us to check out some of the previous videos made by classes last year and the year before that. They were very interesting. Seriously very interesting.

We havent exactly chosen what we will do for our video but when we figure it out, you'll be first to know !!

This lesson we worked on new terms relating on audio files.



Stereo - reproducer in which two microphones feed two or more loudspeakers to give a three-dimensional effect to the sound



Channel - a path over which electrical signals can pass



Track - A track is a song/songs on an album



Frequency - Frequency is measured of occurrences of a repeating event per unit time



Hertz - the unit of frequency



Decibel - the intensity of sound

Wav, mp3, aiff - audio/video formats

LAni and Laura's podcasting

Today lani and i did a few podcasts and got to see how the add things to it and erase parts of a podcast we didnt like.
We are going to add music to our podcast next lesson (:

RINGTONE!!

Today lesson went well. The lesson before Lani and I lost our ringtone which meant that today we had to make another one. We made another one but it wouldnt upload onto the blogger.

We asked sir why this was happening and he explained to us what we hadnt done. We turned the file into a mp3 and uploaded it.

Audacity!

Today we were introduced to a new program, Audacity. We got to play around with it and see how to make podcasts and ringtones. Lani and I worked together and started making our ringtone. We also made a few podcasts together just to experiment and learn more about audacity!
